Q. Are you presently employed as an Activation Coordinator /Recreational Therapist

Yes for over 21 years now, to be exact.


Q. Why did you decide to work in this field?

I always enjoyed helping and being around seniors and I knew I could do a lot for these people.


Q. Why did you decide to write the program guides?

I saw many newbie Activation Coordinator /Recreational Therapist and seasoned Activation Coordinator /Recreational Therapist struggling with implementing programs to meet the needs of their clients so I decided to help them out by sharing with them the things I already knew as being successful.


Q. Can these program guides be used with all levels of dementia or cognitive disabilities?

Yes, they have and can be used with children and seniors citizens ranging in age from 6 - 106.


Q. Can anyone use the program guides?

Yes, but a professionally Activation Coordinator /Recreational Therapist is better qualified to deliver the therapeutic benefits.

 Q. What makes your program guides different from others?

These program guides are written by me, a professional Activation Coordinator/Recreation Therapist, who has over 21 years of practical experience and knowledge in working with the cognitive and dementia impaired. Also these profiles have already being successful implemented many times.

Yes, I have kept the information within the boundaries of the K.I.S.S. method by keeping each of the profiles short and simple.

My colleagues and I have been successfully using these types of programs over the years. I have personally updated many of these program guides to ensure the needs of the clients are met.

 Q. What other things do you have to offer?

I've written several inspirational short stories regarding my experiences working with the cognitive, dementia impaired and disabled.

Over the years many of my clients have given me wonderful inspiration and insights. I feel I was always there to help them when they needed me but they were the ones who gave me encouragement... always.

I am currently writing short stories to educate people that there are lots of smiles, laughter, and caring amongst the program providers and their clients.

I continue to have the privilege of knowing many jovial and wonderful clients and I wish to share these inspirational stories with you.
